My late grandmother painted the most beautiful roses, and I remember watching in awe as she sculpted her floral masterpieces with well-used brushes and twisted tubes of oil paint.
My floral focus has been on Australian natives, and gouache, watercolour and pen and ink are my preferred media. I’m currently working on a series of wildflower illustrations, along with some pretty little paintings of a few not-so-native flowers that we all love to look at. If you’d like to be the first to see these collections (and to see some sneaky process pics along the way), subscribe to my florals mailing list here.
And in the meantime, here’s a sneak preview of just some of the designs on my drawing board right now.
